KEEP THE WHOLE FAMILY IN TIP TOP SHAPE. Family life can be hectic and keeping up with the fast pace of it can be difficult, which also means having regular healthy meals can be easier said than done. With all the news around the UK’s and our communities poor eating habits it is important to take in a few easy steps and guides to tackle this problem without it affecting your busy life.
Our family healthy eating tips for the community include: providing pack lunches for the children (this can ensure you know what they are eating at lunch time and help control their diet), quick and easy health breakfast (as we know it is one of the most important meals of the day), healthy snacks in the car (there is nothing wrong with having a healthy snack in the car on a work or school run), make time for sit down meals (a good solid meal does no one no harm and can bring balance to your families diet) and most importantly the freezer is your friend (they can provide a quick source of fresh meals, ones you made days before or fresh meat or veg, avoid processed meals for the kids).
